Revised Pitch

Now that I had a better idea on how I wanted my game to go, it was time to write out the two sentence pitch and the basic pitch Idea that I had for my game. This is as follows:

Two Sentence:

When searching in the dark, what will your eyes discern from fact and fiction?

When searching in the dark, what will keep your sanity from slipping?

Basic Pitch

You are [Character name here], a new Ranger at [National Park Name] where there are many urban legends and rumours about cryptids and murders. You decided to join to get away from the stresses of inner-city life, wanting the isolation and peace that comes with the job description.

As you get used to the life of a Ranger, you start getting calls of people reporting disturbances from people using fireworks when they shouldn't, drinking and being too loud to reports of people seeing all kinds of spooky creatures causing noises or banging on tents while they try and sleep. It is your duty to go and investigate any claims, make sure the people reporting the disturbances aren't the cause and then get back to your tower.

Overtime, as you try and fulfil your tasks in the evenings, you start to think you are seeing what people actually reported. Ghosts, beasts and cryptids. You start to think you're going crazy with everyone else- scared that you may be attacked by some ethereal being.

Going through the game, you feel you sanity slip away. Is there any way to save it, or will you go crazy and be consumed by the 'creatures' that haunt the place.

- Now I'm not sure if this is any good, but I will be having my 1-1 with James and he will be able to give me some more advice on these. -
