Game Name & Title

When trying to come up with a name for my game, I had a list. These were the names I had made:

Phobophobia (fear of fears)
Caligo (translation to Mist from Italian)

Vagos (translation to Hallucination from Latin)
Sciaphobia (fear of shadows)

Phantasmagoria

I originally wanted to go for Phantasmagoria, but unfortunately, a game with this name already exists so I decided against it.
I liked the way Vagos sounded and felt like it felt futuristic as well as maybe even the name for the company Protagonist works for (in an ironic kind of way).

I then realised after that I really needed to create a cover design and choose a font.

Xirod - 1001 Fonts

Sofachrome- 1001 Fonts

Out of the two, I liked the second more. I liked the 'A' especially as well as the thickness of the overall font. It really reflects the Neo-Noir futuristic setting I wanted to capture I then decided to make the cover photo of the game document.

This is how it looks overall. I wanted the Botanical Garden to be a big focus as well as simply showing off the Neo City aesthetic by making the font look similar to the buildings. The tagline is Hide from your own mind and I feel like it perfectly sums up how things go within the game/ the general idea.

It's simple but I think it's also effective and really brings across the idea we need of the overall aesthetic of the game. It was also a simple cover photo to add an element that would also match the background of the GDD.

I like it but for a proper box art cover, something more effective like an action piece would be more appropriate.
