Presentation Two
It was time for my next presentation. This one I ended up doing a script but translated it onto flash cards to try and look up more than staring at my laptop screen/ to keep on top of things.
As I stated in my look into Lore Olympus, I wanted to talk about how my new topic being trauma. I spent most of my presentation talking about how I was changing to this topic instead of a deep dive into trauma itself.
I did end up having to write out my script for my slides into a format that would make it easier for me to read and keep track of while I was speaking to my class. This lead to me using flash cards, as I thought they were the best way to do so. This is the script I used so I was able to figure out when to change my slides and exactly what I wanted to say to get my point across.
This did lead my Kinopio to have a lot of information about reflection on Lore Olympus as I mainly focused on the visuals in trauma that the series represents. Overall, I do think I had some interesting feedback, how people agree it's taboo, or exploring different traumas and how other artists show the effects (characters have spiral eyes to literally show their spiralling etc).
With all this feedback, I feel like I now have a more solid understanding of what I want to do and where I could go with it. I have been writing notes in a notebook this whole time to add on thoughts and ideas and I did find myself drifting towards the ideas of exploring trauma before I even started things.
It was a bit of a shoehorn way to get my new desired topic into my overall theme, but I do feel like I will be able to create something better and have a game I can really put all my passion's into.
With this, I feel like I can now really explore the three ideas I want to put into my next presentation for the 7th December.
